'You did it again, you got me again!' Dr Jordan Peterson weeps in latest Piers Morgan interview

Wednesday 4 October 2023

Dr Jordan Peterson was reduced to tears as he described to Piers how his life has become 'far more than he ever imagined'.

Dr Peterson became emotional during a wide-ranging interview with Piers Morgan where the pair discussed the clinical psychologist's views on life, celebrity, cancel culture and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Piers pressed Dr Peterson on what the "best thing" in his life was which evoked a sudden flood of emotion.

Dr Peterson said: "Wherever I go, I have friends. I walk down the street and people wave at me. They call out my name, it's really something.

"I have far more than I could ever imagine. I didn't think it was possible."

As tears fell down Dr Peterson's face he jokingly told Piers, "you did it again! You got me again, God."

The pair's last meeting similarly saw the author of the bestselling '12 Rules for Life' begin to weep as the emotional nature of the Piers' interview reached a fever pitch.

Dr Peterson is fighting to keep his license to practise psychology in Canada after refusing to undergo mandatory social media training.

Prime Minister Trudeau had to issue an apology last week as Canada's House of Commons lavished praise upon a Nazi war veteran.

He provided Piers a view of his home nation and its Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.

Dr Peterson remarked: "Living in Justin Trudeau's Canada is a never ending hallucinogenic, surreal dream... there's been one scandal after another and what happens is the newest one obliterates the previous ones in the imaginations of Canadians.

"Canadians need to wake up and realise that they are under the jurisdiction of a preposterous narcissist."

The social commentator also gave an update on his own situation battling the Canadian courts.

Canada's government demanded that the clinical psychologist complete an education programme after complaints were lodged around his activity on X, formerly Twitter.

Of particular concern were his tweets denouncing transgenderism and the body positivity movement.

Dr Peterson described: "I am required to sit down with a social media expert, whatever the hell that is.

"We have appealed that decision. We are planning if necessary to take it to the Supreme Court."

Piers offered his sympathy for Dr Peterson's plight, underscoring the ridiculousness of the courts' decision.

Piers said: "It's all so preposterous, isn't it?

"The idea that somehow you're in the wrong and you have to be re-educated is a form of fascism, isn't it? I mean, it's the kind of Nazism that someone like Trudeau would profess to hate most of the world, and yet he's encouraging the demonization of you for challenging the insanity."
