Ben Shapiro defends Israeli attack on Gaza hospital telling Piers Morgan 'it's no longer a hospital if it's used as a terror base'

Thursday 1 February 2024

Ben Shapiro discusses IDF soldiers dressing as civilians to kill three militants in a hospital, his visit to Auschwitz with Elon Musk and whether Taylor Swift might swing the election towards Joe Biden.

The Jewish commentator also responded to comments made about him on previous episodes of Piers Morgan Uncensored by Bassem Youssef and Andrew Tate.

Mr Shapiro defended Israel's right to attack civilian targets in Gaza, including hospitals, if Hamas are using the infrastructure as a "terror base".

The Jewish commentator said Hamas's use of hospitals to shield themselves from the IDF (Israeli Defence Force) is a violation of international law.

He said: "I defend Israel - ff Islamic jihadists are using a hospital as a terror base then that's a war crime.

"I find it bizarre that international law is invoked when it comes to the response to a war crime, but not to the original war crime - using a hospital as a terror base."

Mr Shapiro also said he believed the question of who governs Gaza after the war remains uncertain.

"The UAE has no interest in running Gaza, Egypt has no interest in running Gaza . Jordan has no interest in running Gaza. The United States obviously has no interest in running Gaza.

"The UN has been cover for Hamas for literally twenty years. So, who runs Gaza?

"That's an unanswerable question right now. There's no good answer. What alternatives do Israel have other than military rule?"
