Tommy Fury breaks down in tears after surviving Jake Paul knockdown to win grudge match

Tommy Fury broke down in tears after beating Jake Paul in a split decision that settled their grudge match in Saudi Arabia.

Fury upheld his undefeated record, securing victory against the YouTuber after a two-year feud.

The former Love Island star and younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury dedicated his win to his partner Molly-Mae and their new-born daughter Bambi.

A tearful Fury said: "For the past two years this is all that has consumed my life. But tonight I made my own legacy. I am Tommy Fury.

"I want to dedicate tonight to my baby girl and my missus. I love you, I can't wait to see you. This fight was for you. I love you."

One judge scored the fight 75-74 in Paul's favour while the other two gave fury the edge scoring 76-73.

Paul, who lost for the first time in his seventh professional fight, congratulated his opponent and vowed to bounce back.

"All respect to Tommy, he won," he said. "Don't judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses.

"I don't know if I agree with the judges, it is what it is, but that is the boxing world. I think we deserve a rematch, it was a good fight, a close fight."

The fight was watched by legends of the sporting world in Riyadh's Diriyah Arena. Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was one of several boxers in attendance, along with football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
