Israeli soldiers appear to force Palestinians to sing 'Long Live Israel' while holding Israeli flag

Video published on social media appears to show Israeli soldiers forcing two Palestinians to sing Long Live Israel while holding an Israeli flag.

TalkTV has been unable to verify the clip that was uploaded to X on 25 October by @abbadijordan90 who wrote: "Israeli soldiers capture suspected Hamas fighters and make them hold the Israeli flag and chant "long live Israel."

"By the way, these are just civilian workers who were arrested by the Israeli forces who said they were Hamas fighters."

It is not known when the clip was filmed or the identity of the men who appear frightened as the soldiers sing and dance around them.

It comes as more Israeli raids in the occupied West Bank have led to the arrests of dozens of Palestinians. The number of Palestinians held in Israeli jails has more than doubled since the Hamas attack on October 7.

There were around 5,200 Palestinians in Israeli prisons already prior to October 7, when Hamas launched an attack on Israel.

The total death toll of Palestinians since October 7 is 7,028, including 2,913 children, according to the ministry.

The ministry is the only official source for Gaza casualties. Israel has sealed Gaza's borders, barring foreign journalists and humanitarian workers.
