Meghan Markle 'doesn't have the strength' to attend the coronation

Royal biographer Angela Levin has said Meghan Markle "doesn't have the strength or courage" to attend King Charles's coronation

Royal biographer Angela Levin has said the King's coronation will be "hugely embarrassing" for Meghan Markle if she attends.

Speaking to TalkTV's Kevin O'Sullivan, she said: "I don't think she's got the strength or the courage to come.

"I think it's easy to spurn nastiness when you are thousands of miles away, but it's another thing when you're there and you get cold looks and nobody wants to speak to you.

"She's quite gauche when it comes to being with royals, and because she doesn't feel she's number one, and so she's awkward about it.

"And of course she hasn't had enough experience to feel at ease and confident because she zoomed off to Canada too soon."

The couple's son, Archie, is celebrating his fourth birthday the weekend of the coronation.

Angela said: "It would be a wonderful excuse if she says she has to stay for Archie's birthday. Of course, a four-year-old doesn't know when his birthday is and it wouldn't matter, but I think that's a good excuse for her not to come.

"I think she will find the Coronation horrendously embarrassing, and it won't help her in her build-up of her own morale."

It has been reported that Meghan will relaunch her wellness website, The Tig, which she shut down after getting engaged to Harry in 2017.

Angela said: "She had [The Tig] before she met Harry, she stopped it in 2017. And now that everything is gone, she's bringing it back again to try and have an influence on people.

"People have got to worship her, that's her main aim."
